DESCRIPTION:
POWERTRONIX DC Filter Chokes / Toroidal Inductors are smaller, lighter, and more efficient than conventional laminated chokes. The leakage flux is low and they are especially audibly quiet in the sinusoidal mode.

 
APPLICATIONS:
DC Filter Chokes / Toroidal Inductors are used for smoothing and energy storing in inductive input filter circuits. The application removes the high current pulses associated with capacitor input filters. This reduces the size of the transformers, capacitor and EMI filter, which in turn lowers both weight and cost.
Powertronix Inductors are also used in DC motor controls to improve motor performance and efficiency.
